Leverage Yourself, Turn The Ignition Key!

In the last section you have decided where you are at regarding your wish to take the next step towards changing your life. Now it is time to start leveraging yourself and to turn the ignition switch…

What do you think has so far stopped you from having this goal you want in life?

What would your life be like if you had this goal? List all the great feelings and benefits if you already had this in your life

Think about it…What are you presently missing out on by not having this goal in your life? What pain or frustration are you experiencing because you have so far failed to have or to achieve this goal? And what are your family and loved ones missing out on? Because it may not be just about you…

This exercise is designed to help you get leverage on yourself. Here is the thing…the more pleasure you associate to having the goal and the more pain you associate to not having it, the easier it will be to motivate yourself day after day to take the necessary action.

It has been proved that associating pleasure to achievement causes success. And so, to succeed you must learn to associate pleasure to what you want. This shouldn’t surprise anybody…

When you couple an association of pleasure to achievement with an association of unbearable pain to failure you become highly motivated. This means you will be willing to do whatever it takes to succeed. And this is the secret to achieving success.

But sometimes we get derailed because we lack confidence in our abilities…

What you believe about your capabilities influences your motivation and, as a result, determines the instigation, direction, effort and persistence of your future actions.

So, start believing that you can. And give short thrift to any feelings of inferiority, or negative self-statements and self-beliefs. Here’s a quote for you…
